Lei making is one of the most grounding and beautiful arts that have been passed for several generations. The history of the Hawaiian lei dates back to the first Polynesian settlers, who introduced the lei to the Hawaiian Islands as a sentiment of love, friendship, celebration and in honor of the Hawaiian Gods. Earth Day is a good day to give yourself the gift of nature as a reminder of the importance to Malama our A’ina.
This event is plastic free please bring your own water bottle and reusable cup.
